When driving, as you start to slow down, the car starting to shimmy. It happens more so if you are driving faster before braking or coming to a full stop. I was told it had something to do with the rotors

The rotors are warped [due to the heat produced by braking - it is normal for brakes to produce a lot of heat]. Have the rotors replaced.
