Hey ya I bought this van recently it's real clean and thought the shaking wouldn't be to expensive to fix I'm trying to figure out if it's the transaxle or something with the engine it shakes for a split second when turning it over then its fine then put it in drive and shakes drives and shifts fine

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Are the RPM's dropping really low when you place it in gear?

I hate to say it is okay to drive because I don't know what is causing the problem yet. However, based on your description of the issue, it doesn't sound like anything major is wrong. As far as this type of problem, yes, I have heard of similar issues, but they are usually related to vacuum leaks. As far as the EGR code, an EGR can cause a rough idle if it isn't working properly. Delete the code and run the van to see if the same code comes back. As well as the EVAP code (fuel cap).
