When accelerating or braking there is often a "popping" or "clunking" noise that seems to come from the vicinity of the front passenger side wheel area. Wondering if this could be a strut that sticks? Jacked that side up to look at the strut, didn't see anything, but the noise stopped for a while afterwards. Could be coincidental. Steering is tight, don't notice anything when making turns specifically.

I would say to have a shop check it out. Could be control arm bushings/ball joints. These cars are also well known for the motor mounts to go bad (the hydraulic one the front).
