I got a check engine light and had it checked at Auto Zone.
The code came up as the PCV ws bad. There is a metal bracket riveted to the valve cover. The bracket keeps the PVC from coming out
How do I change the PCV without removing the valve cover ot drilling out the bracket?

the pcv is serviced only with the valve cover. dont do this yet. there is no direct code for the pcv. autozone does not employ techs, just parts people. I would have a shop pull the code and do a real diag.
it may be a long term trim code which could be a lot of different items. it gets very expensive guessing and throwing parts at it.
