Cadillac question

I own a 2005 cadilac DTS and I cannot open the trunk or the gas cap cover by the button on the dash. I can open the trunk with the key but
I am on empty and I can't get gas.
Can anyone help me?

There's usually an emergency cable in the trunk that you can pull to open the gas cap. It might be hidden behind a trim panel.

Check the fuses first. The Body Computer might be involved with those systems too. Those are a high-failure item on GM cars.

the valet switch is on.turn it off.they will oper.

the manual nos exactly. im thinkin in the glovebox though
