I recently had to replace the engine in my sienna. It now has an engine from a 2005 sienna. I am having trouble reinstalling the power steering pump though because the timing belt tensioner is different and cannot be interchanged. The old one installed vertically allowing clearance for the power steering pump, while the one on my new engine sits at an angle obstructing the power steering pump placement. I am at a loss after trying everything I can think of. Please help.

I hate to say it, but this is why we only recommend direct fit parts. When you go from year to year, there always seems to be something different that won't work properly. The only thing you can do in this case is fabricate something to work. Can you upload a picture so I can see what you are dealing with and perhaps make some recommendations?

The only thing you can do is try to fabricate brackets to hold everything securely.
