When I had the oil change before this one I had a high mileage oil change and this time around I had a regular oil change. Could that have contributed to the oil light on and the rough engine run, and if so what can I do to rectify the problem

Please don't start a new question each time. No one else will be able to figure out what is going on or will want to jump into the middle of a conversation. If I don't see your new question, you will be left hanging with no response. There will be a link to your current thread in the automated e-mail you receive. Use that to continue to read and post replies.

I already told you what to do in your other question. Check the oil level. Have the oil pressure tested.

I'm not sure what is meant by a "high mileage oil change" unless you mean they used a higher viscosity oil than recommended. I already suggested that. My Grand Caravan calls for 10W-30 oil, and I've been using 10W-40 for over 15 years, even through the winter and -20 degrees F. It has well over 400,000 miles with no major repairs.
