Check engine light blown out

Wow! Impressed with quick reply and the bulb part # is crucial since the dealer couldn't find it in his data of bulbs! Thanks so much. Hoping this is a DO it yourself and my son can easily open up the dash- Thanks much!

Hi Ken- thanks to you I ordered the part # for the bulb and it arrived. The mechanic is now telling me that there is a "potential problem" that once the check engine socket is checked it still might now work with the new bulb! I was shocked to hear him say the computer itself may be inoperable which is very very expensive to replace
I said the other lights are on -oil brake seat belt etc but he said the check engine has a separate computer----and he won't know until he gets in there if it's not working
Is there any way you can point me to this issue online or if you have knowledge of this KIA issue or how to approach it would be so helpful! Thanks and I have told a bunch of people about your great service.
