Changing a car battery

Can I change the battery of my 2004 Saturn Vue, 4 cly, manual transmission vehicle or does it have to be done by a mechanic?

Yes you change it if it's bad there is a plastic cover over the battery that you would use a screwdriver to remove.Then remove the cable's the negative on first there 8mm.Then down at the base of the battery is the battery hold down it's pretty easy.
