2004 Nissan Armada Audio system volume not working

The Armada had to be jump started due to the kids watching a movie in the car that apparently drained the battery. The stereo before the jump start worked perfect and now the radio, cd player everything works but no sound comes from the speakers! The volume will not work. When you play the radio and hook a headphone set in the back it works so it must be the speakers. We have checked the fuses and they are fine. So puzzling if it is the amp why would it have gone out because of a jump start? I don't have the $500 plus the dealership said it would cost without even looking at the car! We have only owned the car for 1 year we have had so many issues I think we bought a lemon! Any input would be a great help in figuring out the mystery! :)

Have a radio shop check this out you may have to enter a code for it as well which if you do an ddon't know it, contact Nissan on their 800 number they will give it to you. If they don't then try the last 4 digits ofyour vin. He dealer would just have a radio shop look at it anyhow. Unless there is scanning type problem and any pro mechanic with a scanner can check that not only a dealer.
