When the car has been sitting for a day or more when I try to start it it cranks very slow as if the battery is dead. But when I try to start a short time later(and by short I mean 1 min.) It cranks slow but it picks up and starts. I had the battery checked a few weeks ago and it was bad so I have a new battery with 640 crank amps. I was told the starter and alternator tested good(while still installed) Any help will be appreciated.

Check for a bad ground going to engine from battery as well as loose terminal ends on battery. Make sure they are clean and no foreign junk like battery protector between terminal ends. They get warm form charging and that crap gets between the terminals. Also make sure there is no corrosion on positive or negative cables. As that can make a high draw which make starter slow. Just because a battery is new doesn't mean they are good so have that retested if the other stuff doesn't work.
