The simplest way to access the battery would be to remove the driver's seat w/c is held down by 4 Torx bolts. But I found out there is a way for the battery to come out w/o removing the seat.
st - Remove access covers for battery ( under the driver's seat) and the fuse box (side panel of dtiver's seat platform).
nd - Undo the battery terminals w/ a box wrench.
rd - Unbolt the fuse box and push aside slightly.
th - There should just be enough clearance for the battery to pass through the side opening by lifting it out at a slight angle (assumes the correct slim height battery was fitted).
