2004 Mercedes Benz S55 radio

2004 MERCEDES BENZ S55

The radio goes off and on at many different times. There is no set time or place that this will happen. It happens while I am driving then it will not come back on sometimes for days. Please advise what could be the cause and what is the corrective measures to take.

This could be a couple things. First, check to make sure the wiring to the radio is clean and tight. If it is, check to make sure the radio is properly grounded. If it is, check to see if there is power to the radio when it doesn't work. If there is, then chances are there is an internal problem with the radio.
