Recently I pulled the fuel rail to install a fuel injector for the 8th cylinder (there was still a misfire after I changed the spark plugs and coils. The fuel injectors didn't come out freely with the rails. They all would spin in place, but none of them came out freely. I pry'd the injector I needed to replace, oiled the seal for new injector and replaced. Putting the rail back on was tricky, but there were notches on the fuel rail ends that lined with notches on the injectors. It was tough lining the rail back up with the screw holes to reconnect to the manifold. Reconnected everything back into place, sprayed the upper intake manifold with air intake cleaner, and reassembled.
Problem: Car starts fine, but when I go to drive it sputters before the shift and takes way too long before switching to next gear. It's revving high before switching gears. My mechanic said it might be tranny related. Tranny levels are fine, and tranny was running fine before I went and tried to be mister fix it. Please help
