I have a 2004 kia Rio. I has about 150 something miles on it. I just bought it (used of cause) a few months ago and besides the basics its never given me an issue until this week.
Yesterday as I was driving it got hard to shift so I put it back on neutral and tried to put it on first gear but as I pushed the clutch in and I heard a popp (or a crack) so now the pedal wont come back up, its stuck at the bottom, it feels heavy or something.
So I could no longer shift or move that car after that. I don't know what the issue could be but I'm 95% sure its the clutch. A few weeks ago when I was getting the oil change the guy told me the clutch got stuck but it didn't do it anymore it was working fine up until it popped. I'm really just hoping its a cable or something easy and cheap to fix, does anyone have any suggestions or any ideas of what this could be?>

It doesn't sound like the clutch is bad, but rather the clutch cable broke. Check that and let me know what you find.
