Where's the noise coming from; under the front of the car or under the steering wheel? If it's under the steering wheel, suspect the "clock spring". That's a wound-up ribbon cable in a plastic housing. It has the circuits for the air bag, horn, and cruise control. It often makes a clicking sound when it starts coming apart.

If the noise is coming from under the front of the car, have it inspected at a tire and alignment shop. They will look at the ball joints, tie rod ends, and struts. Upper strut mounts can make a clunking noise while turning, and there are ways to identify that, but they really have to be disassembled to inspect them. That isn't practical unless the struts are being replaced. Outer cv joints can make a clicking sound but only when the car is moving.
