My Citroen C2 VTR Sensodrive will not go into reverse gear. What can the problem be?

This unit is what is called an automatically shifted manual transmission. In other words, it is a manual transmission that the control module controls the shifting.
So, if you have an issue with shifting into reverse the issue could be one of two things. First it could be a fluid issue. So, we need to start with checking the fluid and make sure it is at the proper level.

If it is, then we most likely have a control module issue. So, we are going to have to try and locate a module to replace this and let us know what happens.
Unfortunately, we don't have a manual on this vehicle, but I am sure we can work through this.
