Multiply the number of hours to identify the symptoms since you can't, times their hourly shop rate.

Multiply the number of hours to diagnose the cause of the problem times their hourly shop rate.

Multiply the number of hours to fix the cause of the problem times their hourly shop rate.

Add those three together, then add the cost of the parts.
