Car just died and needed a just to start up. I bought a new battery over a year ago for another car. I only used that battery as needed, other than that it sits in my garage. How can I find out if this bsttery is ok to use in my acura? That battery was bought to be used in my v8 283 65 impala.

Chances are the battery is powerful enough for your vehicle. However, is it physically the same size and will it fit? They make different group models for batteries. You need to be able to SAFELY fit the battery onto the battery box and properly mount it.

Let me know.

Don't you just love technology? I hate to say it, but I don't have that code. You will need to contact a dealer for it. I'm really sorry about that. However, I'm glad it fits and works for you. Batteries have become really expensive. It seems like yesterday they were 25 to 50 dollars. Now, a person can't get one for under 100.

Take care and let me know if you have other questions.

Joe
