The water pump is gone in my car and the belt broke yesterday. I want to know if I can very carefully drive it to the mechanics? I will monitor the temperature gauge carefully and stop if getting hot

Without the water pump and belt, the temperatur would heat up in less than 10 minutes and the battery is not going to be recharged so it would fail after some time.

If the driving distance is not far and would not take more than 10 minutes, you can drive the vehicle without the water pump working. Ensure the drive belt is clear and no dabris are around the area to cause damage to other engine components.
