The car would only go 17 miles an hour and the I light was on

I asked you the same question which light? Sounds like the reduced performance light though?You would have to get the computer scanned for codes with the exact code numbers not code descriptions?Also is it a 4 or 6 cyl engine? Automatic or manual transmission? I think I already have a idea of what's wrong with it but need the codes with details?Not just light is on were not there to check for codes and see which light etc please keep that in mind.
