My windshield washer fluid pump seems to have quit working. It won't pump the fluid onto my windshield. I refilled it the other day, and it's not cold enough out for it to have frozen. Is there a cheap and easy fix for this? I have a 2003 Saturn L200.

You first have to test for power and ground arriving at the pump. If you verify power and ground, then the pump itself is bad. If the pump is running, then you may have a blocked nozzle or something.

Remove the frozen water out of the reservoir and fill it with warm water, then let it sit for a litte while and repeat. This will defrost the water in the pump so the pump will work. It may have also blown a fuse so check that. If you hear the pump working then there might be ice still in the rubber lines that go to the nozzales When you finally get it working all right then put the windshield fluid in that does not freeze

I'm not hearing the pump working, and I don't have water in the reservoir. I have windshield washer solvent that doesn't freeze above -25 degrees. I'll check the fuse, but beyond that there's not much I can do personally. I wouldn't have the first clue how to check for power and ground. I barely know where the fuse box is in my car. I just don't want to have to pay a ton of money for a mechanic if it's something simple like a fuse.

By all means check the fuses first. Even if it needs a pump, they aren't very expensive.
