2003 Oldsmobile Alero front hub

My front wheel hub of my 2003 Alero was replaced in the end of January 2012. Its now the end of June 2013 and my front hub needs replacing again. Is it normal to need a front wheel hub to get replaced every year and a half? It seems awfully quick for a front wheel hub to go out.

There are aftermarket bearings made in China that have proven to be not so good so if the bearing was replaced with China bearing that would be cause. If used GM oem then bad luck
