Jag 2003 xj6, have number of faults showing on dash parkbrake, cat system, air suspension, dsc not available, had diagnostic machine put on it and codes re-entered, car ran well for short time and codes have come up again and car is now in limp mode by the feel of it could this be electrical.

Would they have showed on diognostic machine, on dash just showing faults mentioned no numbers

Most auto parts houses offer to read codes free not sure if true in UK. But garage or dealer will be able to read. What happened last time was codes where cleared but have come back so will codes.

USA car is selfdiagnostic the ODBII will display faults in all cars systems

Have a proper English breakfeast get thoes codes I'm in Florida so 5hrs difference. Usually get on line around 7:30 to 8.

Hi I have had car taken to jag specialist by breakdown company but they gave me the codes which were p1000+, p1637 and p1637. I will let you know outcome for future ref tnx Gary
