If the light is on, there is a trouble code stored in the computer. Take the vehicle to a nationally recognized parts store and have them scan the computer. Most will do it for free. Have them tell you what the code is and let me know.

Debbie,

If it is lean, start by checking for vacuum leaks.

Let me know what you find.

Hi, sorry it took so long to get back, any way, it was the manifold gaset, this guy we took it to is very good, he new right away what it was, he had for four other chevy's in there that month, and the brakes, it was a censer, he replace one and grease both of them. He couldn't understand why gm don't do it from the factorie, it would save a lot. We are diff going back to this guy, so far it cost us, about 700.00 I think the other guy was guessing? Thanks for the info. Debbie
