Drives worse when the temp gauge goes down

I've got a focus st170 and the oil temp and engine temp gauge never realty go to the middle please can anyone help! Cheers chris.

You really need to redo this, but from what I can understand your oil pressure isn't right what you think. It's alwasy best to put a mechanical gauge on and check it that way first as the gauge could beoff or the sensor not working right. Alot of times a cheap oil filter can do this as well. I don't understand the 2nd part of the question.

Hi thanks for the reply, I'll word it better the st170 has a oil pressure gauge and a oil temperature gauge the pressure is fine but the temperature rarely moves off cold, could this be a sensor problem if so would you know where to locate it? Cheers
