I recently had to put my van in the shop with fuel issues. We were thinking that it wasnt the fuel pump but it ws possible. My boyfriend tried to check himself but got as far as getting one bolt on the talk partly out before he bailed on the project leaving the bolt partially backed out.
Well after the repairs I was told they had to put a nee fuel pump in and a cam shaft sensor, well it's obviousbthat the sensor is new but it doesn't appear that the fuel tank has been in no way moved the bolt my boyfriend backefnout is still exactly the way he left it, wouldn't they have had to dropnthe tank?

If they actually replaced the fuel pump, the tank had to be removed. Interesting. The CAM sensor times the fuel injection. Maybe that took care of the problem without them replacing the fuel pump. Just a thought.
