While you make that sharp or fast turn, do you feel the wheels slipping? If you do then that is normal. That is telling you that you are losing traction and the system is operating to get you back on track. So maker sure you have plenty of tread on your tires. If that is not the case, how is your alignment? Is your steering wheel off-centered? If your steering wheel is not straight and is actually turned more to the right side, when you turn right the steering angle sensor looks at that angle and the brake control module will interpret that as an over steer on your part and will activate the traction control to correct that as well. An alignment will fix that problem. If this is not the case you will need to have the brake control module scanned for fault codes and fault trace from there. You can call your local Volvo dealership to see if they are participating in the Volvo service for life?
At minimum you will get a free print out of the fault codes with freeze frame data and some basic checks. Post the BCM codes on here to get an idea as to what is going on? Good luck and keep me posted please.
