It sits outside on driveway, whether it is 50 or 30 degs. Outside it takes a very long time for engine to warm up. Drive Several blocks before transmission shifts into 2nd gear. Local dealer has supposedly checked this with no fix yet

Have asked dealer to check it out but nothing on invoice stating anything was done regarding thermostat. Being possibility of thermostat issue is my thought also

Ehen it takes a long time to warm up, the thermostat should be the one to start with. If it is stuck open, the coolant would be recirculating as soon as engine is running and this would mean more coolant to heat up.
