2002 Pontiac Grand Am 2.2L isn't starting

It died on me when I came to a stop and only sputters when I try to start it again. It seems like a fuel problem and my oil pressure gauge is on, so I replaced the MAP sensor but it changed nothing. It's not tSputtering and failure to turn over.

How do I check the pressure if the car doesn't start?

Start by spraying starting fluid in the intake. Does it start. If so rent a pressure gauge at the parts store. When u turn the key on and read the pressure.
