Can I cut out a piece of bad fuel line & fix it with hose & hose clamps?

Should I patch a broken fuel line with compression fittings or can I get away with hose & clamps?

you can put hose on it but without some type of thing to hold the clamps it won't stay on as it's high pressure. you can buy high pressure fuel line though and maybe a couple of fittings to adapt to fuel line.
