Replaced battery this morning and discovered an odd fuse next to the battery. It was out so I purchased a new one but am having trouble getting the old one out. Do I have to get the screws out? It doesn't just pop out? I cannot get either screw to turn. Should I spray it with WD40 and wait til tomorrow?

That is a mega fuse and if it' snot blown leave it alone if you have power it's ok.

Then check your fuses in your underhood fuse box, if that fuse were bad you would have no power at all to the car

It is definitely blown - as the top of the metal arc inside is separated and my new one is not. The people at Auto Zone said it is most certainly blown but could not unscrew those horrible screws. I have power and can drive but the battery light is on and I have no stereo, clock and lights.

Well it should be replaced then if it's blown but kinda odd that the car started. But check fuses in dash and underhood for headlights under dash for other things.
