I have a 2002 Hyundai Sonata, 4 cylinder, that starts and runs for about 2 seconds and then dies.

Check the main injector relay and fuse. While it's running, listen for the injectors pulsing. Check the fuel pump.

Try inspecting the camshaft position sensor and the connectors. The connector to the camshaft position sensor will start to corrode which can cause a bad connection and result in the car dying like you mentioned.

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge, to take out the fuel filter and pump-start here

Hey dude.
Can you please stop giving those misleading suggestion,
anyway thanks for all the idea,
regarding this problem, actually from the syntom as billb79 mention earlier its becouse of cam shaft sensor(CMP) sensor mulfunction/ not working.

A malfunctioning CMP MAY cause this problem. But what is more likely is that the fuel pump isn't working properly.
