2002 Ford Ranger Ranger fx4

Is the check engine light on? If you used a spray bottle while the engine is running and sprayed the spark plug wires does the engine start to run rough? It sound electrical because this is the only thing effected by moisture. If you spray the plug wires when is it dark you might be able to see sparks leave the spark plug wires and instead of going to the spark plugs. Maybe have someone reving the engine when spraying also to look for spark escaping.
