My rack and pinion broke and cant afford to have it fixed, how do I do it myself? My dad is going to help he kmow alot about cars just not how to tale the ranck and pinion off and put the new 1 on. And do I need to buy more sterrimg wheel fluid?

Yes, you'll need more power steering fluid. You'll be losing a lot that is in the rack and pinion assembly that you take off. Your best bet is to get a copy of the manufacturer's service manual. That will have pages of steps to replace the assembly along with drawings. You will need to have the car aligned when the project is finished.
