This is a long and involved process. That is, if you are wanting to keep the car!
I recommend a Chilton or Haynes repair manual ($25-$30, at a parts store)
It will give you the step by steps and many helpful pics and diagrams
It has been proofread and implemented, as to weed out mistakes. (Unlike us!)
Also gives you precautions, can be used later for other repairs and proper maintenance procedures.
