Won't stay running unless the RPMs are over 1000

I have an '02 Dodge Dakota quad cab 2wd, This past weekend it has been having trouble starting as if the battery was dead. Once started, it won't stay running unless the RPMs are over 1000. Once I let it idle at 500 it stalls. Any ideas?

I changed the Idle air control valve, and it's still stalls at idle. I've noticed this problem when the truck is cold. I'm thinking something electrical. When the truck does run, the battery gauge goes way up, so it couldn't be the alternator, right? I've also noticed some quirky electrical things, like my radio wouldn't turn on the other day, the passenger window controls don't always work, one door won't always lock.

Check for vacuum leaks first

here is a good article on that.

then, the fuel pressure,EGR and PCV valves, have the alternator checked and also the throttle position sensor to include exhaust system for restriction
