the abs light and trac light came on and stayed on?

Had front brakes installed and a right front wheel bearing installed, within the same day the abs light and trac light came on and stayed on. Took the car back to the shop and the mechanic said the abs sensor was bad, does this sound right and if so where would the sensor be located?

the sensor bolts to the spindle if it were moved it could have hit the wheel bearing damaging it. if it is the side that was replaced then it's a high probability. It sounds more like he damaged the sensor when doing the job. Nevertheless, here is how to fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes
