It all started right after the cars battery went dead while driving. The car totally died. Now (after replacing battery with a brand new unit), I have the ABS light, Tracoff light and brake warning light on all the time.

Thing tried:
new battery - charging system tested
Plugs, wires and coilpack (unrelated misfire)
Brake system inspection

Have you determined why the battery went dead? It's very common for the brushes in the alternator to be worn causing intermittent loss of charging. Any testing must be done while the problem is occurring, otherwise it will check good.

Weird things happen to computers when the supply voltage goes high or low, and most likely a fuse blew for the anti-lock brake computer. There is always a second circuit to run the warning lights.
