I have a problem with my reverse lights; so, when the engine is on the reverse lights stay on, I can shift into any gear and reverse lights stay on. Once I shut the vehicle off the reverse lights cut off, so I'm not sure what to do?

This happens when the gear range sensor goes out here is the location and how to replace it in the images below, also I have included the reverse light wiring diagram so you can tell how the system works. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

So my reverse lights stay on at night and I cut them off if I cut off my head lights and during the day it stays off unless I reverse.
