I own a 2002 chevy cavalier that roars when going straight and turning left. There is also a slight vibration when going straight and turning left. When you turn right, or even slightly right while driving straight it completely stops. I have replaced the wheel hub assy. And still didnt solve the issue. It does get louder as you speed up and quiet as you slow down. I'm thinking cv axle but worried its internal in the transmission. It has 198,000 but axles were replaced around 150,000. I'm just looking for a second opinion if you coul help it will be greatly appreciated!

Usually when you do what you are saying it's the cv axle. Check for a torn or cracked boot on both ends. Or grease on a part that doesn't move. It could also be a trans problem. If you don't see any broken boots, then have a trans guy diagnose it as he would know of something that may be peculiar with that setup.
