What would cause all my lights to flash on my 02 escalade

Are they flashing on and off, or flickering. If they are flashing on and off, there could be a content theft deterrent(alarm) problem, it should also be soundin the horn. Does the horn work? If they are flickering, are they only doing it with the engine running? That could indicate a charging system problem.
