How expensive would it be for a software upgrade for the TCM (Transmission Control Module) in my Volvo in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is doing a function called & quot; Neutral Controls & quot. Should I get rid of the car??? I just bought it. Please help.

I don't know what the labor rates are where you live, but to have the computer flashed usually takes about an hours labor. As far as getting rid of the car, try to fix it first, If the problem continues, then consider getting rid of it.
