My car heats alittle above normal half mark and when the fans kicks, it comes normal. Now it has a miss, sound like the plugs.

Please advise what could be wrong as I did a service a month ago.

Best check for a head gasket problem, are you having to add any coolant?

The "Low Speed" of the fan motors is probably burnt out... you can check the fans via jumper cables attached to a battery and activating the
different speeds directly at the fan harness plugs:

I've been working with VWs for 20 years and still can not tell the difference between a Spark Plug Misfire or an Ignition coil misfire, UNLESS I use
my diagnostic equipment. Checking the spark plugs is an easy first step... but it could be Ignition Wires or Ignition Coil, especially if they are still
the original components!

1.8T, 2.0L, 2.8VR6....??
