Backing out of the driveway the reverse pressure is 240 psi. I put the car into drive 100 psi. I go down the road the car shifts to second and goes to 240 psi. I pick up a little speed and the car go 100 psi and high rev's but does not shift. It stays that way (high rev's) until I stop and then the pattern repeats.

This is not the typical way to test the line pressure, but I think you are finding your issue anyway.

Sounds like the pump is failing or you have a leak somewhere in the pressure circuit that is not allowing the pressure to build right away.

We need to start with checking the fluid level and condition because that will cause the same issue.

If the fluid is correct, then we need to use the info below to confirm the issue.

However, I suspect you have a pump issue.

Please run through this info and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks
