Inspect the belt. Chances are it stretched and needs replaced. I have to ask you a question. Is there only one belt on the vehicle? If that is the case, there is a belt tensionier that keeps it tight. Check to make sure it is not broken or damaged. As far as the belt, if the tensionier is good, I would replace the belt with a new one. I have done them on these cars and it is tight to work on. I wouldn't want to see you use the old one and it come off again.
