Cluck in the forntend of 2001 Pontiac Montana

Hello I have a 2001 pontiac montana. I have a cluck nice in the fornt end. I have change all the bushing and I have change the all the motor tramission munts and I still have the nice.

When does it occur? Braking? Turning? Over bumps? All the time? Does it stop when the brakes are applied?

Well, engine mounts were a good suspect. You can also look at ball joints, outer tie rod ends, and loose brake calipers and pads. Another good suspect is upper strut mounts but they can be real hard to diagnose without taking them apart.

A better approach is to ask at the auto parts stores that rent or borrow tools if they have a "Chassis Ear". That's a set of six microphones, a switch box, and headphones. You clip the microphones to suspect parts, then switch between them while you're on a test drive. By moving them around you can zero in on the source of the noise.
