2001 Nissan Bluebird electrical/brakes

My Nissan Bluebird Sylphy recently started showing the ABS light and it won't turn off.. Everything else seems to be working but the light is worrying me as it might be for something. Please help. I read somewhere where it said something about sensors but I couldn't find them and I don't know what they look like anyway.

The light coming on means the control module has sensed a malfunction. It then shuts the system down and stores a trouble code to identify the area of the problem. You need to get the system scanned and post the actual code number.
