Car started up OK for the day, I drove around no problem. Suddenly, out of nowhere, started to run rough, stalled out. I restarted it, stalled out again. Same, again. Finally, was not able to start engine. Battery new, mechanic checked all fuel lines, plugs, ignition wires, not the problem. No coolant in oil, no oil in coolant. He says there is significant compression loss in one of the cylinders, could be timing chain, not sure. Doesn't think its worth it to fix b/c of mileage.

If here is a sginifcant compression loss in one cylinder it may be a piston or burnt valve also scan for codes and check fuelpressure. For the compression loss wet test to see if it comes up or not
