Shaking can be nothing more than tires out of balance, but when coupled with clunking noises, it's time for an inspection by a professional. Warped brakes rotors can be a contributing factor. Normally worn ball joints or tie rod ends won't cause a shaking by itself, but warped rotors or out-of-balance tires will cause a vibration that is greatly exaggerated by loose steering / suspension parts.
